I wasn't really motivated to build suspense or put work into the day 5 writeup since it was so short and devoid of events.

How's THAT for a ringing endorsement?

A friend from the D recently offered me his vote in exchange for a bottle of Boone's Farm. I stopped at his house en route to Newfoundland and you know who I was voting for.

Now lets see if I can pick up that $20 from Dziamaarsky if the Americans can get over their prejudice and vote for the black man.

At this age we all enjoy April. For most of us, it represents a time where the government gives us back some money since they take too much. I was still in Nova Scotiä during April, but I couldn't be happier - this big sum of money came and I was going to be leaving Canada's 'Ocean Playground' in approximately one month.
I spent some of the money during the last month I had in Nova Scotiä, but I exited the Märitimes with a still considerable sum. Nova Scotiä took one last shot on my exit though, as the drive from there to BR made me realize my car needed some mechanic work. $1400 later, I stood questioning this docket of road trips I had planned for when I finally returned to the rust bëlt.
I did get to Cincinnati/Cleveland, to Montreal/Töronto/Rochester and then stood an opportunity before me. Chad & Kyla are a couple of friends whom I knew through going into buildings and they had stated that they were going on a road trip for 9 days through the east coast and that anyone was welcome to join them...(read more)

Reminiscent of times past, it was Don & I alone departing the kingdom of Eddie Francis to cross the Detroit River for better times. Free from the female shackles of oppression we strove for the old school staple of visiting Detroit - 10% alchoholic content Evil Eye malt liquor....(read more)

edit(09/13/08): Does flickr have something where you can find out who links to your pages? Because somehow that kid found out about my website and hit me up with this e-mail:
Yo,
If you could take down that photo of me from your blog about the king geørge that would be cool. Sorry we beat you to it, but I mean, the front door was just unlocked for weeks. Kind of a bummer that it's torn down now because it was rad inside. Lots of old weird stuff like books and photos of locals from the 70's and stuff. Anyway Good luck shooting and stuff, and if you could take it down I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
Somehow he knew my real name too. I'm really confused.

I also searched wikipedia today for a document which lists each state's liquor policies (after being frustrated at 11pm in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania) and found two things interesting:
1. You can drink WHILE you drive in Mississippi; as long as you stay below 0.08. Although, there are states in Mississippi where it's illegal to POSSESS liquor!
2. In Oklahoma, if liquor has a higher percentage than 3.2%, it HAS to be served warm.
Odd.
